The predecessor to the Model 98, the Custom 98 is the most popular rental marker at most paintball fields. The 98 Custom, like any Tippmann gun, can be fitted with a wealth of upgrades. The 98c comes stock with a 8.5" barrel, off-set feed for down-the-barrel sighting, vertical tube function, 45 grip, steel-braided gas line, and CVX valve for play in all weather. The trigger pull is a very light 3lbs. With a Response Trigger, speeds up to 15bps may be experienced. Unlike the M98, it features a removable trigger guard to add in double triggers, and the ability to take an RT as a drop-in upgrade.
This is the same marker that Miri Paintball Arena currently have. Except for the "98 custom" wording replaced by "Rental". |
